We hold 2042 units across 9 treadmill and walking-pad models in a warehouse in Germany. Buyers in the EU can take a single unit as a sample in 3-5 working days, test it in their own market, and only then decide whether to commit to a container from Ningbo.
Freight on one unit from the German warehouse starts at €9.11. On the compact Q-series it stays below €92 to every EU destination we serve. The same unit sent from China costs more than US$200 in freight alone, and takes 30 days or more door to door.
Why the first order is the expensive one
A container from Ningbo is efficient. A single unit is not. Below about five units, freight, import formalities and the customs broker’s invoice make up most of what you pay, and none of it buys you anything you can resell.
| One unit from China | One unit from our German warehouse | |
|---|---|---|
| Transit | 30 days or more, door to door | 3-5 working days to most EU addresses |
| Freight per unit | More than US$200 | From €9.11, model and country dependent |
| Customs | Import declaration, duty and import VAT on entry | None for deliveries inside the EU |
| Minimum order | A container, if you want a sensible unit price | One unit |
| Testing before you commit | Not possible | The sample is the test |
| If the model does not sell | Stock sits in your warehouse | You stop reordering |
What “test before you commit” means in practice
Order one to three units. Run them for a fortnight in your own shop, studio or showroom. Check the things a spec sheet cannot tell you: how the deck feels underfoot, how loud the motor is at 6 km/h, whether the fold is as quick as the drawing suggests, and how the carton survives a courier network.
Then choose one of two routes:
- Scale into containers. Once the sample sells, place a 20GP or 40HQ from Ningbo at FOB terms and take the lower unit cost.
- Bridge with EU stock. Keep drawing 10-50 units from Germany while the container is produced and shipped, so you are never out of stock during the 30-day gap.
Most of our European distributors start with the sample, place a first container within one or two quarters, and keep a small German-warehouse buffer afterwards for colours and models that move faster than forecast.

A pattern worth noting: on the compact Q-series the spread between the cheapest and the most expensive destination is roughly €70, so freight rarely decides the margin. On the larger units — and to Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria and Romania — it can exceed €150, which is why we quote per destination rather than publish a flat rate. How ordering works
1. Tell us the model, the colour and the destination country. We confirm availability and quote the warehouse price plus freight.
2. We invoice from the German entity. Delivery inside the EU needs no import declaration at your end.
3. Dispatch within the lead time quoted. You receive tracking from a European carrier, not an international forwarder.
4. Reorder, or move to a container. Both routes stay open, and the sample you already tested is the same build as the container.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a VAT number to buy from the German warehouse?
For intra-EU business deliveries we need a valid EU VAT number so the invoice can be issued without German VAT under the reverse-charge rule. If you are buying as a private individual or from outside the EU, VAT and import formalities apply differently — tell us your situation and we will confirm before you order.
Can I buy a single unit, or is there a minimum?
One unit is fine for a sample. There is no container minimum from Germany.
Is the German warehouse stock the same build as the container product?
Yes. The units in Germany are production stock from the same lines. That is the point of testing one before ordering a container.
What if a unit arrives damaged?
Report it within the carrier’s claim window with photographs of the carton and the unit. We handle the claim with the carrier and replace or credit according to what the inspection shows.
Can you ship to the UK, Switzerland or Norway?
Those are outside the EU customs union, so deliveries there need an export declaration from Germany and import clearance at destination. We quote them separately.
Do you support private label on warehouse stock?
Warehouse stock ships as KREEDA or neutral. Private label — logo, colour, carton printing and manuals — is produced on container orders from Ningbo, where the tooling and print runs make sense.
